TomTom XL 335S

Hey guys, I searched the forums and clothing and was rattling astonied to not hit much discussion on the TomTom XL 335S. I meet hit a few questions:

1. What category of maps impact on it? (I noticed that all the maps become in either 8.40+ edition or with 650.00+ versions. Which edition works with the XL 335S?)
2. I am tech savvy, so how would I put the 8.40 or 650.0+versions of northerly american/us and canada maps on it.
