What is hanging Problem?

when we say hanging problem in mobile phones then we mean to say about a problem of seizing while making its operation. mostly handsets with this type of problem are found with hardware faults . anyhow now we have to discuss here all possible situations in hangset problem .First let me make it categories as under.

1.Hardware fault

Hardware Fault:

if we have to discuss here hardware ware disaster which led to hangset fault then we should discuss here under these topics.

1.water or moister effect

2.Quartz Crystal failure

3.physical shortage

4.button shortage

Water or Moisture effect:

water or moisture or also responsible some times to produce mobile phone hanging fault. once I after taking bathe with wet hands received a call at my nokia 3100 in 1995, after one our i again wanted to call someone again then i found that all keys of my mobile phone are not working , it was totally in seizing mode. i bought this handset to my workplace and then disassembled and then washed it with CTC motherboard cleaner and then i threw some hot air on it and assembled my phone again and found it working right again.

the problem was that water made one or two keys of my mobile phone short and the big principal is when one key is short then other will not work until its release, the shortage by water or moister can make your phone hang.

Quartz Crystal Failure:

the main digital circuit of mobile phone is run through low frequency signals which are produced with the help of Quartz crystal. so if the quartz crystal. fails to response while making some operations on mobile phone then the phone gets seized or hang condition. view the picture below

physical Shortage:

some times there is some carbon or a wrong jumper which led to hanging faults. these type of shortage should be deeply inspected and then removed so may hanging fault may be restored to none.

Button Shortage:

Mostly i found handsets with hanging faults which has some shortage at buttons as described to my first heading in this lesson. if there is some shortage at one of the keys of mobile phone then all other keys stop working so first check with multi meter that if there is some continuity between all button terminals , if it is so then remove shortage between the key terminals you found short
